Rhian WILLIAMS

Sober Coach

Helping women make alcohol insignificant.

What is a Sober Coach?

I work with women who are questioning their drinking habits, by breaking the stigma of having a ‘drinking problem’ and giving them tools and strategies to cut down or quit drinking so they no longer feel ashamed.

Have you tried to cut down your drinking but found it harder than you'd like to admit?

Have you started to feel ashamed, and a bit scared, by how much you drink?

Are you worried about the effect drinking may be having on your physical and emotional health?

Do you find that one drink just isn't enough any more and you tend to reach for more?

Does the thought of never drinking again terrify or unnerve you?

Did you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions above?

Then you are in exactly the right place. I can help you. I’ve been where you are, not that long ago. I know how much it sucks. Working together we can unpick your beliefs around what you think alcohol brings to your life and what it takes away. We’ll work with different tools and strategies to help you cut down or quit drinking. I want you to live life on your own terms and take back control by making alcohol insignificant.

About me

My name is Rhian Williams and I live in Swansea, South Wales with my husband Chris and two daughters Annabel and Olivia.

I quit alcohol on Saturday 14th March 2020 after 15 years of worshipping wine. I became a sober coach because I found the lack of support available frustrating. As a woman, and more specifically a mother, I felt I couldn’t talk to anyone about my drinking problem and felt very ashamed.

As an IHPM approved practitioner my mission is to provide women with a safe, open and non-judgemental environment to talk through their issues and empower them to make positive changes.

“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.”
